Tenori-on. Here comes the musical instrument of the 21st century. It has been designed and created in 2005 by Toshio Iwai and Yu Nishibori and marketed by Yamaha. Since 2009, its price has dropped (from 869€ / 1300$) and has became available in more and more stores. I think there’s no need to say more. Just check the video below and enjoy !

Tenori-on. Voici l’instrument de musique du 21ème siècle. Conçu par Toshio Iwai et Yu Nishibori, il est développé et commercialisé par Yamaha. A new way to save fuel. In the departure lounge, information screens ask passengers to go to the toilet before boarding the plane. This one-month test was devised by the Japanese airline All Nippon Airways and covers 38 domestic flights between Tokyo and Sapporo (north) and Okinawa (south), and 4 international flights on Tokyo-Singapore.
It might seem completely wacky but according to the company, if half of all passengers follows this advice, the company would reduced its CO2 emissions by 4.2 tons per month.
This measure is part of an experimental program called “e-flight”, which includes many other initiatives such as replacing bottles of wine in glass by plastic or the use of recycled wood chopsticks.

La compagnie aérienne japonaise All Nippon Airways (ANA) expérimente depuis le 1er octobre une nouvelle façon d’économiser du kérosène: demander aux passagers d’uriner avant d’embarquer, afin de réduire le poids de leur vessie et donc de l’avion au décollage.
Ce test, d’une durée d’un mois, est réalisé sur 38 vols intérieurs entre Tokyo et Sapporo (nord) et Okinawa (sud), ainsi que sur 4 vols internationaux Tokyo-Singapour et retour, a indiqué mercredi une porte-parole d’ANA.
Dans la salle d’embarquement, des écrans d’information demandent aux passagers de se rendre aux toilettes avant de monter dans l’avion. Selon ANA, si la moitié des voyageurs de l’ensemble des vols suivait ce conseil, la compagnie parviendrait à réduire ses émissions de CO2 de 4,2 tonnes par mois.
Cette mesure s’inscrit dans un programme expérimental baptisé “e-flight”, et qui comprend de nombreuses autres initiatives comme le remplacement de bouteilles de vin en verre par des modèles plus légers en plastique ou encore l’emploi de baguettes en bois recyclé.

Au Japon, Adolf Hitler est méconnu et est parfois considéré comme un conquérant, une sorte de Napoléon.
